HighMag Viral RNA Extraction Kit
The HighMag Viral RNA extraction kit has been exclusively designed for semi-automated extraction of viral RNA by using HighGene, Zybio, Biocomma, and Tanbead instruments.
This pre-filled kit is flexible in sample types, including whole blood, cell-free body fluids, sputum, and viral transport medium. The kit is magnetic bead-based and provides a high yield in less than 10 minutes.
Reagents are pre-dispensed in sealed plates cause, preventing human errors during the workflow and reducing hands-on time. In the magnetic separation of nucleic acids under optimized conditions, nucleic acid selectively binds to the surface of magnetic beads, leaving impurities in the solution.
In the elution step, the nucleic acid is released from the surface of magnetic beads as a purified sample. The purified nucleic acid is well-suited for common downstream applications such as PCR, qPCR, RFLP, and sample preparation for sequencing (NGS).
